How long should it take to make time for a blog? I am only about a year and a month... maybe this is the year.
Already I am making plans for the year.... Vacation at Madawaska Lake, Maine State Quilt show and some time with friends... some time to meet Janiacs!!! and I will be working on Mondays at the shop for the new Owner! Yes I have sold the shop and she is due to take over on Monday the 14th of January.
The big news is that I am going to sew! Sew and sew more! There will be pictures of some of my quilts soon. My children have not seen all my quilts to date. So I will be doing pics and then getting them here will be fun. I dug out the doll clothes books today and there are some cute things for American Girl and Bitty Baby dolls in the books I have ... I also have some baby dolls to sew for too! Nora has a doll that I will need measurements from before too long.
My paperwork is nearly complete. The rest of it should be done today. Then it is more sewing. I also like to knit. I am making Mittens for Kathy right now and I have 2/3's of a sock made for Olivia AND started a scarf of wool. AND I want to start a wool triangle to wear over my shoulders. I have some lovely yarn to do that with.
Maybe before too long I can interest my DH in helping me sew some of the quilts I have kits for that I am keeping. This should be fun really. He and I could sit and stitch in the loft and get lots done. He use to come and sit with me while I sewed or knit.... now we need a place for some furniture so we can sit in the studio and be comfortable. All in good time.
